Running 5th - 26th November 2023 and boasting $15 million in series prize pool guarantees, the thrilling second installment of the Asian Poker Tour Online (APTO) comprises 14 Trophy Events – each of which will award a real-life APTO trophy to the respective winner – in addition to a daily schedule of satellites and side events.

First Two APT Online Trophies Awarded
The first two Trophy Events of the APTO are in the books, and the first of the champions has been crowned. So far, the opening two events have seen 2,558 players compete for USD $948,650 in prize money, with close to three quarters (74%) of this amount awarded in the two-day $5,000 Event #2: Superstar Challenge – and there is still plenty of action left to come.
Upcoming highlights include the USD $88 buy-in Event #6: APT Mini Main Event ($500,000 GTD) running Nov 7-12, the $400 buy-in Event 3: APT Double Stack ($250,000 GTD) running Nov 7-9, and the ~$140* buy-in Event #4 Thailand National Cup ($140,697 GTD) running Nov 11. *Converted from Thai Baht.

Event #1: APT Online Bounty Kickoff
It was the $108 Event #1: APT Online Bounty Kickoff kickstarting the series action, with players awarded a progressive bounty of at least $25 for each player eliminated. This saw 2,409 players in action, easily surpassing the tournament’s $202,300 prize pool guarantee, generating a $240,900 prize pool (including bounties), with the top 350 places paying out and a min-cash good for $140.70.
It was Ukraine’s “Antoxa_kr8” who claimed the accolades and a top prize of $9,798, plus an additional $11,719 in bounties, after cutting a deal with the heads-up opponent and defending APTO Main Event champion “Sioul17” from the Netherlands, who collected $9,773 plus an additional $2,510 in bounties for their runner-up finish.
Ukraine’s “Joy Division” rounded out the winner’s podium, claiming bronze and a pay-out of $7,135 (plus $1,526 in bounties) for third place, with the final table paying out as follows:

Other notables to cash but come up short of the final table included Natural8 Team Hot Ambassador Yu-Chung 'Nevan' Chang (21st for $554.84 + $693.74 in bounties), Hong Kong’s “Leon Hsu” (34th for $393.71 + $435.15 in bounties), and China’s “visent” (78th for $279.40 + $175 in bounties).
Event #2: Superstar Challenge
While Event #1: APT Online Bounty Kickoff drew the largest field of the APT Online Trophy Events so far, the $5,000 Event #2: Superstar Challenge ($250,000 GTD) was where the majority of the first weekend of the series’ prize money was awarded. This saw 149 players compete for a sizable $707,750 prize pool, with the top 20 places paying out and a min-cash coming in at $9,428.19.
It was Brazil’s “Dennys Ramos” who proved to be the superstar, claiming the trophy and a top prize of $144,385.25 after cutting a deal with heads-up opponent “Chris Klodnicki” of Canada, who locked up a payday of $137,330.08 for their runner-up finish. Montenegro’s “pokanuktus” took home $90,531.28 for third place, with the final table paying out as follows:

Reigning APT Incheon 2023 Super High Roller champion “Milos Petakovic” narrowly missed out on making a final table appearance, cashing in tenth place for $11,675.18. Taiwan’s “yoxinsoul2” also made the money, cashing in for $9,428.19 for 15th place.
